Interested in guiding the future of MiChart?

The Physicians Advisory Committee and the Operations and Executions Task Team are both seeking house officer representation.

House officer involvement in the MiChart beyond that at the department level has historically been through the Physicians Advisory Committee (PAC) since its inception.  The committee meets every other Thursday morning from 8.30 to 10am, usually in the Cancer Center.  Discussions had here impact institution-wide settings for the MiChart build.  Michael Lanham, HOA president, is currently a house officer representative on the PAC, and the committee is seeking a second house officer representative.

A new committee called Operations and Executions Task Team (OET) is also being formed to investigate operational decisions going forward, specifically as related to the inpatient build, to help develop communication strategies, and to help problem solve cross-departmental operational challenges as they arise within the MiChart project.  The meeting time and frequency (likely every other week until January, when it will become weekly) of this group are yet to be determined, but at least two house officer representatives who could each commit to at least 50% attendance would be preferable.

Please e-mail Robin Tarter with interest in either or both committees or with further questions.
