A2 Summer Festival

Events are scheduled all throughout June.

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival has been a community tradition for the past 35 years, and no visit to Ann Arbor is complete without experiencing all it has to offer. The festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to "present a world-class celebration of arts and entertainment that enriches the cultural, economic, and social vitality of the region." 

The Festival runs throughout the month of June and presents over 175 concerts and events of all genres of music, spoken word, comedy, and more. A2SF features all different art forms, including performance, culinary art, art education for children, wellness classes including dance and martials arts, film, and street art.

Highlights this season include:

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, an Internet sensation spearheaded by revered artist Scott Bradlee. This group takes modern songs back in time, turning 21st century pop into 20th century swing, jazz, and more. Check out PMJ’s past performances and find ticket information here:

Acrobuffo’s Air Play, a gravity-defying circus spectacle and ode to childhood. From husband and wife duo Seth Bloom and Christina Gelsone, comedy meets beauty in this performance of wonder for all ages. Learn more about the artists and find ticket information here: 

KidZone, daily programming created specifically with children and families in mind. From learning karate to creating homemade instruments to meeting prehistoric critters, KidZone partners with local organizations to bring the best in art and education to Ann Arbor’s families.
