DUO Required by October 10
No need to wait to sign up.
Two-factor authentication (Duo) will be required for all Michigan Medicine employees and sponsored affiliates. The requirement will go into effect on October 10.
More than 26,000 Michigan Medicine employees already use Duo two-factor in some form to help secure U-M data and systems, but only 5,000 employees use it for all the services they log into via Weblogin. A campaign encouraging early adoption of the tool for Weblogin has already begun.
Employees do not need to wait until October 10 to gain the protection of Duo. They can simply “opt-in” to protect their personal information, including payroll auto-deposit.
