Pączki Day is Tuesday, February 17.

A Polish tradition popular in Michigan and other midwestern states — pronounced "Pownch-kee"

Pączki are a Polish specialty pastry reserved for once a year in honor of Fat Tuesday. This is a Catholic day of celebration and wraps up all the Mardi Gras craziness.  This is the precursor to the Lenten season, and the last day to indulge in "fatty" foods before the traditional 40-day period of fasting before Easter.

There will be a limited number of these "donuts" in the HOA's lounge on Fat Tuesday at approximately 7 am, with a re-supply at noon. If you're in the vicinity of UH2F210, please stop by.

The available flavors are Lemon, Custard, Apple, and Strawberry.  Enjoy!

If the lounge is still not open by the 17th we will update this article with alternate pickup location and times.
