A GME physician scientist community is being established with the goal of creating connections among resident and fellow trainees identifying as physician scientists within our University. We have planned casual meetings every other month to meet with our group as well as mentors to discuss topics that may be of interest to physician scientists, i.e., K grants, finding mentors, starting a lab, grant writing, etc.
