Members of the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP) union have been in negotiations with the hospital for months seeking their first union contract. The HOA knows how difficult this fight can be and we are here to support our union siblings as they seek better pay and working conditions.

In an effort to exert pressure on Michigan Medicine, UMMAP members are holding a series of informational pickets on Monday, 10/7 from 3pm-5pm and Thursday, 3/10 from 6am-8am in front of the Taubman Center.

The HOA urges our members to show up in support of UMMAP at their pickets. It would mean a lot for our colleagues currently in a difficult contract fight to see their physicians standing with them.
