How Do I Get an HOA Emergency Parking Pass?
The HOA as an extremely limited amount of P3 24x7 Parking passes for House Officers who have an emergency need such as an injury, pregnancy complications, or temporary disability. They are issued First-Come, First-Served.
According to our contract, the HOA helps administer the P3 24x7 parking program. The vast majority of these spaces are allocated to programs for rotations that meet the qualifications for their use. However, each year there are always a couple of them left that the HOA distributes to House Officers with emergency needs. Please read the below carefully for both the guidelines and process for acquiring one temporarily.
- Please note that the passes are extremely limited (low single digits). We cannot guarantee one to everyone who needs it.
- The Emergency Pass system is designed for House Officers who have a short-term need such as an injury that makes mobility difficult, pregnancy complications, or any other sort of short-term disability or emergency need. Need is assessed via the honor system. Documentation is not required at this time.
- The passes are distributed on a First-Come, First-Served basis. Once they are distributed we will have no ability to provide any others until a window for reapplication opens. We will still try to assist you however else we can.
- Passes are available for one-month at a time. If you need the pass for more than one-month you will need to make sure to reapply in a timely manner. Getting a pass once does not guarantee one in the future.
- APPLY HERE, or click the "Help" Button on the HOA website. Please put "Emergency Parking Pass Request" in the subject. Let us know your program and very briefly why you are requesting the pass.
- On the 25th of the month at 8:00pm, the request period for the following month opens. For example, if you need a parking pass for October, the request period would open on September 25th.
- Requests for the current month are able to be made through the 24th at noon. For example if you request a pass on October 24th, it will be issued and valid until October 31st. You would need to reapply on October 25th after 8:00pm to keep using the pass in November.
- This process is subject to change by the HOA Board in the event it becomes unworkable or unwieldy. The HOA will notify the whole unit in the event that occurs.
