CoMet - Don't Miss this Opportunity

Have you ever wondered what training your teachers have to teach you on the wards?

Are you interested in medical education and are wanting to pursue more formal training with like-minded peers from across the health system?  

Please consider supporting your resident or fellow for an application to CoMET: a Community of Medical Educators in Training.  This trainee-designed, trainee-led, GME-sponsored initiative is accepting applications for its second cohort of fellows.  Twice monthly 90-minute sessions will focus on both the development of practical teaching skills with structured opportunities for practice and feedback as well as the opportunity to design and implement a medical education-focused scholarly project.  Sessions will be facilitated by some of the health system’s most gifted educators.  For more information—including further programming details and a preliminary course syllabus—please visit the CoMET application at

The “What”:       A Fellowship Cohort of CoMET: a GME-Sponsored Community of Medical Educators in Training

The “When”:      A brief application is due by May 1, 2018.  Notification by May 14, 2018.  The course runs from July 2018-June 2019

TUITION:  $200 (to be paid by training program) for 2018-2019 Program
