Bargaining Team

Are you a creative problem solver? Are you ready to work to improve the lives of House Officers?  If you want to sit across from the administration at the bargaining table as we present our proposals, and you want to help shape those proposals, the bargaining team might be for you!

Ideal bargaining team members have their finger on the pulse of the issues facing House Officers. They understand the inner workings of their training programs. They stand ready fight for a fair contract. They are also able to provide rapid feedback (12-24 hours) and can commit to weekly meetings beginning in January.

The Bargaining Team will have periodic preparation meetings starting in July, with actual bargaining sessions beginning in January 2027. Bargaining sessions are usually multiple-hour meetings in the evenings, occurring once a week until a contract is ratified.

Action Team

Do you have a passion for organizing? Do your peers see you as a leader? Do you have a creative streak? Are you a social media star? We need you on the Action Team!

Ideal members of the Action Team are ready to use any means necessary to activate, motivate, and obtain participation from all of our 1200 HOA members. The Action Team will foster our strength in numbers, and solidarity among our community of members.

They will also shape our public campaign. Traditional and social media, solidarity events, and rallies fall under the purview of the Action Team.

The Action Team will set their own meeting schedule and working style. Meetings will start in July and run through ratification of a new contract.

How to Apply

HOA members in good standing can apply to the Bargaining team, Action team, or both teams. To apply, drop us a note using the help button at the bottom of the page, and explain why you would be a good fit. Indicate which team you would like to join, and if applying for both, let us know which one is your first choice.

Selection

Team members will be selected by the HOA Executive Board by mid-July.
